Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Giftloora, we strive to provide a fast, secure, and reliable digital gift card experience. Because gift cards are digital goods delivered instantly with monetary value attached, our refund policy is necessarily different from that of physical products. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. General Rule — Non-Refundable

All gift cards, e-vouchers, and digital codes purchased on Giftloora are non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-exchangeable once the code has been generated, delivered, viewed, or partially/fully redeemed. This restriction is imposed by our Brand Partners and is consistent with industry practice for prepaid instruments.

2. Order Cancellation Before Delivery

If your payment has been deducted but the gift card has not yet been delivered to your account or email (status: “Processing”), you may request a cancellation by writing tosupport@giftloora.com within 30 minutes of placing the order. Cancellation is granted at our sole discretion and depends on the issuing Brand Partner's confirmation that the code has not been released.

3. Failed or Duplicate Transactions

If your payment is debited but the order is not created on Giftloora, or if you have been charged more than once for the same order, the excess/failed amount will be auto-reversed by your bank or payment provider within 5–7 working days. If the refund is not received within this window, please share the transaction reference with our support team and we will coordinate with the payment gateway on your behalf.

4. Defective or Invalid Codes

In the rare event that a delivered gift card code is found to be invalid, already redeemed at the time of delivery, or technically defective, you must report the issue to support@giftloora.com within 48 hours of delivery with the order ID and a clear screenshot of the error message from the Brand Partner. After verification with the Brand Partner, we will, at our discretion, either (a) replace the code, (b) credit the equivalent amount to your Giftloora wallet, or (c) refund the amount to the original payment method.

5. Expired Gift Cards

Each gift card carries a validity period defined by the Brand Partner and clearly mentioned on the product page and in the delivery email. Giftloora will not refund, replace, or extend the validity of expired gift cards under any circumstances. We strongly encourage you to redeem the gift card well before the expiry date.

6. Wrong Recipient or Wrong Denomination

You are responsible for selecting the correct brand, denomination, recipient email address, and quantity at checkout. Once a code is delivered, Giftloora cannot reverse, reissue, or transfer it to another account. Please review your cart carefully before payment.

7. Promotional & Discounted Cards

Cards purchased using promotional codes, wallet credits, cashback, or limited-time discounts are non-refundable and non-cancellable. Any associated rewards or cashback will also be forfeited in case of an approved refund.

8. Fraud & Chargebacks

Initiating a wrongful chargeback or dispute with your bank without first contacting Giftloora support may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of wallet balance, and reporting to the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal. We cooperate fully with banks and law-enforcement agencies in fraud investigations.

9. Refund Timelines

Where a refund is approved, the amount will be credited within 7–10 working days to the original payment method. Wallet refunds are reflected instantly. Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
