Giftloora (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us when you use our website, mobile interfaces, and related services (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices you have. By accessing or using Giftloora, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, mobile number, billing details, gift recipient details, and any communication you send to our support team. We also collect technical information automatically, such as device type, browser, IP address, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps, through cookies and similar technologies. Payment information is collected and processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway partners and is not stored on Giftloora servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) create and manage your account; (b) process orders and deliver gift cards; (c) send transactional emails, OTPs, and order updates; (d) provide customer support; (e) prevent fraud and enforce our Terms; (f) personalise content, recommendations, and offers; (g) comply with legal obligations including under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable RBI/MeitY guidelines; and (h) improve and analyse the Platform.
3. Sharing & Disclosure
We may share your information with: (a) Brand Partners and aggregators to issue and fulfil gift cards; (b) payment processors to complete transactions; (c) cloud, email, analytics, and customer-support service providers acting on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations; (d) law-enforcement, regulatory, or government authorities when required by law or to protect our rights; and (e) successors in interest in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, maintain sessions, analyse traffic, and deliver relevant offers. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit certain features of the Platform.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Transactional records may be retained for the period required under applicable tax, accounting, and anti-money-laundering laws.

We follow reasonable security practices and procedures aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and the SPDI Rules under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections, and sensitive credentials are hashed and salted. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, port your data, or object to certain processing. 8. Children's Privacy
Giftloora is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that personal information of a minor has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
9. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or Brand Partner storefronts. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before sharing information.
10. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Material changes will also be communicated through email or an in-app notice.
11. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder, our Grievance Officer can be reached at support@giftloora.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
